A client asked me to prepare their MYOB file for upgrade to the new MYOB format. When trying to do this I received the following error:
AccountRight Enterprise must terminate.
Termination Code: 1233 error
Important Details: Error -3000 in DMBegin transaction (5033:7020:4).
Uh oh – that looks pretty serious. Although after beginning to get to know MYOB I realised that rational error messages is not exactly their forte. As it turns out the most simple fix is to run the “optimisation assistant” tool from the MYOB Tools menu from within the start menu.
This will run a repair and optimisation of the file and takes a few minutes depending on the file size.
